Elite Training & Better Bonds
As a CPDT-KA certified professional, I offer more than just basic obedience. My background in high-level dog sports like IGP/Schutzhund gives me a unique understanding of motivation and drive. I don’t just train "at" your dog; I build a dialogue through active engagement. What truly sets me apart is a balanced, real-world approach. I prioritize positive reinforcement to build confidence, but I also provide the clear, fair boundaries necessary for reliability. You get a companion who isn't just "obedient" because they have to be, but one who is truly tuned in to you.

Consultation
My consultation is a professional diagnostic session to bridge the communication gap between you and your dog. We’ll start with a behavioral assessment, observing your dog’s natural temperament and "drive" to identify the root cause of any challenges. We’ll discuss your specific goals—whether it's reliable recalls or calmer walks—and I’ll evaluate your dog’s current engagement levels. By the end, you’ll have a customized roadmap ensuring we build a training plan that fits your lifestyle and leads to real-world reliability.
Sessions
Each session is a high-energy blend of coaching and "proofing." We start with engagement drills to get your dog mentally dialed in. Next, we tackle 1-2 core skills—like leash manners or recall—using high-value motivators to reward success. I don’t just train the dog; I coach you on the mechanics so the results stick. We finish by adding "real-world" distractions to ensure reliability outside of a quiet room. You’ll leave with a clear, manageable homework plan and a dog that is tired, happy, and more connected to you than when we started.
More info
I believe that successful training is rooted in clear communication and a strong bond between the dog and the handler. My methodology centers on understanding each dog's unique personality and using the right motivators to encourage better choices.
