Love of Dog Training
With my 2 Labradors, Bear and Kiely, in 2018 I really engaged in learning positive reinforcement training: hiring my own trainers, reading modern dog psychology books and absorbing many varying levels of training knowledge, styles and techniques through online videos. Once I started dog walking and house sitting for clients in early 2024, I enrolled in and acquired the Rover supported online dog training certification offered by GoodPup. The correct addition or removal of attention, dogs naturally begin to follow our lead. I also gained more calm and confidence as a human.

Consultation
During your consultation...I will get to know you and your dog learning the target behavioral training goals. I will create a recommendation for the training solutions and the number of sessions to achieve your goals. I will observe your dog's personality and body language to best apply the training methods.
Sessions
In your dog's first session get ready for some hands-on action! We will dive right into play and training exercises to continue as home work. Remember to have your dog's vaccination up to date and records available. Let's have fun as we build a calm, confident dog.

All learning one new skill or behavior one step at a time following through with consistent repetition, natural consequences, positive reinforcement and reward. Dogs love to learn, work for and simply please us. They deserve our respect and leadership to create a mutual bond of trust and confidence.
