Passionate & Knowledgeable!
I’ve grown up with every kind of pet you can imagine from dogs, cats & hamsters to exotics. I currently live with my 3 dogs and what I like to refer to as my 'mini-zoo' at home. My goal is to help pet parents understand their fur children. I bring patience, positivity, and personalized care to every session. How ever your dog came into your life, whatever their background, I’d be honored to assist you in any way I can in order to reach your goals. Anything from socialization, all the way up to therapy class, I’ll take it all and do my very best to help you better understand and train your dogs

What to expect
Consultation
During consultations, I first evaluate whether the dog is comfortable around me and its environment. I of course then discuss with the parents, their issues, and goals. I also find out what motivates the dog best. Next step is to begin coming up with a plan to make those goals come to pass. We lastly come up with a training schedule. My consultations rage from 25mins-45mins depending on the situation and the parents' questions.
Sessions
I address the most pressing issues, then move forward with the days objectives. I try my very best to break down body language that I observe from the dog, and tweaks I make. I do prefer to have my pet parents involved during sessions, I need to make sure they can copy what I am doing with their dog and they understand why I am doing what I am doing. I take things step by step. Depending on how the dog is feeling that day, dictates how much we accomplish in that session. They have good days and bad days just like us.
More info
I always take a customized approach with every dog. I never teach a dog to listen out of fear. My methods are those in positive reinforcement. Everything your dog will accomplish, will be because they want to work with us. Without the use of fear or physical force.
