Setting Your Pups Up For Success!
I will put compassion first every step of the way as I help your bestie learn new ways to get what they need. I'm just getting started in my professional training journey but I have worked with dogs in all shapes and sizes for three years as a walker and sitter. My own dog is a high energy rescue with a lot of anxiety and it's taken a lot of patience and hard work to help her overcome her stress in certain situations. I will give you the tools you need to guide your dog in the direction they need to go without damaging the precious bond you have with them.

What to expect
Consultation
In each consultation I will get to know your dog and their training needs so that I can create customized check lists for you to work on with them. We will also discuss how many training sessions they will need to achieve your training goals and make sure we are clear about what those goals are.
Sessions
Once we've had a consultation and come up with a customized training plan for your pup we will jump right into training. I will cosch you in teaching them cues to practice and stimulating situations when problem behaviors arise so that they can practice making better choices. In subsequent sessions we will look over the checklists I will provide to track their progress and decide where they are ready to advance.

I believe training should be fun for both dog and guardians! I focus on positive reinforcement and working with your dog where they are at, giving them the option to make good choices. This often involves managing their stimulation levels so they can focus or redirecting them by showing them alternatives behaviors when problem behaviors arise. I provide detailed training checklists to systematically track your dog's progress and take the guesswork out of your homework sessions.

My walk schedule is generally 9-3 so I'm available for training sessions M-F from 4-6 although if you need an earlier time feel free to inquire. It's possible there will be an opening.
