Coaching for you and your dog
What sets me apart from other dog trainers is my unique blend of skills and experience. With a science background, I’ve spent years designing interactive training programs for both adults and kids, always focusing on measurable results. I use this experience to find the best way to help you reach your goals with your dog. My hands-on experience in dog behavior management at a doggy daycare further enhances my approach.

Consultation
Before your consultation, I will ask you to fill out a brief questionnaire. This helps me get familiar with the basics, so we can focus on your specific needs and concerns. During the session, I’ll ask questions and take notes. My goal is to understand what you want to achieve, so we can create a training plan that fits your timeline. We will work at a pace that suits you and prioritize the things that matter most to you and your dog.
Sessions
At the start of each session, we’ll review the work done over the week, discuss what’s been successful, and make any needed adjustments. We’ll then set goals for the day, ensuring your dog is ready to work. Using the treats you’ve set aside, we’ll focus on the skills you and your dog need to work on. We may also discuss enrichment and management strategies to improve daily life. At the end, we’ll review what we covered and agree on next steps, including what to work on between sessions.
More info
My mission is to help people and their pets live in harmony. I listen to clients, understand their goals, and create customized training plans. Whether building a foundation with a puppy or addressing behavior challenges with an adult dog, I guide clients every step of the way. I use positive reinforcement and science-backed methods grounded in learning theory. I prefer to see clients in the Beaverton/Hillsboro area. Certifications: Karen Pryor Academy-Certified Training Partner Pet First Aid and CPR AKC Certified Evaluator (Virtual Home Manners, Trick, Fetch, and CGC)
