Dog train, CGC Eval., Ret Vet Tech.
I have had such a rich and varied career working with animals. Some highlights are (as a Licenced Vet Tech) being the Manager of the Adoption program at the Greater Miami Humane Society, managing an Animal Hospital, working at a Wildlife rescue facility, being the head Tech at the San Antonio Zoo in TX, and the many years of Dog Training. I offer private lessons, where I come to your home, and your dog is in a familiar territory.

Consultation
During the consultation, I will assess you and your dogs' needs, the areas that need work, and any issues you would like help with. We can come up with a training plan and I don't require a set number of lessons from you.
Sessions
I find that in most cases I start with taking your Dog to "Kindergarten," that is to say, we start from the beginning, making sure you and your pet understand the fundamentals as well as hand signals, and clicker training if you like. It is best if your pet is on a leash when I arrive. I will need to see a current vaccine record as well. If you have a partner, it is best if both of you are there for the lessons, so we are both on the "same page". Treats for your Pet are great to have on hand. Remember, this is Positive reinforcement, so no hitting, yelling, or jerking on the leash.
More info
I graduated from Animal Behavior College several years ago, but had been training dogs for around 20 years I am a retired Vet Tech, having been in that field for over 30 years, as well as being a CGC Evaluator for the AKC. My job is to teach you how to teach your pet. I use Positive reinforcement to create a better relationship between the Pet and Pet Parent.
