Engaging, empowering, rewarding
Spending time with your dog should be enjoyable, and that includes training too! I bring a gentle energy and empathetic ear to our sessions, aiming to ensure the exercises we work on together feel comfortable and can be incorporated into your lifestyle. Training shouldn't feel overwhelming, so I can find ways to build it into your daily schedule to help move you and your dog towards a more harmonious bond. When you and your are communicating smoothly, the world opens up towards new adventures together.

Consultation
During your consultation, I like to start by getting a little bit of backstory on how you became a team. From there I ask about your training or lifestyle goals, any challenges you're having, and come up with a plan. If you're comfortable with the conversation, I like to finalize our first private training session while on the call.
Sessions
At the top of our first session, I like to revisit our goals from the consultation, and like to begin hands-on training in the areas that you are finding most challenging, or on whichever goal you'd like to work towards first. I'll come into the session with a plan, but environments and dogs are fluid, so I stay flexible to work at whatever we're being given at each moment in our time together. We can accomplish a lot in 1 hour, but it takes consistency and practice to build behavior change.
More info
I’m passionate about helping your and your dog build a stronger, more trusting relationships through effective communication. By using science-based positive reinforcement techniques, I personalize training plans that focus on your goals, whether that be stress-free dining at your favorite restaurant, calmly greeting people in your home, or building confidence in your dog with those oh-so-tough situations (fireworks, I'm looking at you!). I empower you to foster deeper a connection with your dog through mutual understanding and respect.
