What to expect
Consultation
In-Home Consultation last 1.5 hours typically, its like a mini session. I expect them to do what they normally do to introduce their dog to new people. I need to see the behavior to assess it for the best training plan, We talk about their training goal and expectations. We decide on the best plan of action for their dog and their life style and then schedule their first session.
Sessions
We meet in thier home, and they show me what they know and then start working on relationship building depending on what type of training they need to reach their goals. I show them how to communicate with thier dog with body pressure and hand signals. I always try to make sure we accomplish a portion of what we are training for. Always end on a good note and I give them home work. I come back in two weeks to see how they did then we move on to the next item or we continue working on the previous item until they feel comfortable with the exercise. They will need to get the equipment I suggest
