Let me help your pup succeed!
I'll tell you HOW to get results and WHY the methods will work, to encourage independence and education for both you and your pup long-term. My goal is NOT to become yet another annual subscription service. We will work together to come up with a plan that makes sense to everyone in the family and can be executed by everyone uniformly. I want to help your family become a dog training team in your own right so your pup gets consistent messaging and everyone can feel empowered in how they should react to problem behaviors or how they can encourage new good ones.

Consultation
We'll talk about the behavior(s) that your dog has: are we looking to minimize ones that are causing trouble? Or are we hoping to add new good ones? We'll go over details around problem behaviors / what you're hoping your dog will learn. If in person, I might look at relevant parts of the home with you. I'll ask about treats, favorite toys, and about fears, or strange behaviors, when you got your dog, its age, behaviors you've already trained, and if the dog has experience with pro trainers already. Then we will develop a brief, simple plan to tackle 1-2 behaviors at a time in sessions.
Sessions
The training session will last between 30 minutes and 1 hour total, with some of the time spent reviewing the plan with participants and then I and at least one family member will jump right in. If it's a problem behavior, part of our plan will involve prompting the behavior so that we can then address it, and if it is a desired behavior, we'll work together to coax your dog into doing it. There will be repetitions of anything we're working on, trying to help your dog "get the hang of it," and then there'll be a brief break before another set of repetitions.
More info
Dogs are incredibly active learners and, like most humans, respond best to meaningful encouragement. I will help you figure out what your dog is telling you that they need to succeed and learn the RIGHT habits.
