Service Dogs, Tricks, CGC, and More
I have extensive experience with service dog training and I have a Master's in Anthrozoology, the study of human-animal interactions and relationships, where I focused my study on companion animals and service dogs. So I have very in-depth knowledge as well as a lot of hands-on experience with dogs and dog training. I'm in New Jersey, so anyone from NYC will need to be virtual. There are NO mileage or travel fee for anyone else within approximately 30 miles from Montville, NJ. Please read my service agreement before booking: https://www.doggystars.org/about/dog-training-services-agreement.

What to expect
Consultation
During a first consultation, I'll discuss in-depth with you what is happening with you and your dog, your training goals, and what kind of further training and training schedule I recommend. No training will happen during a virtual consultation, though some training may occur during an in-person consultation.
Sessions
Training sessions will have you working hands-on with your dog, so make sure to have treats and/or toys ready! Please have your dog's vaccination record ready to show at the first appointment. Between sessions, you'll have "homework" to work on with your dog. If you have any questions or concerns during or between sessions, you can always contact me.
More info
I use science-based methods that focus on meeting both your dog's needs and your wants and personalize it for YOU. Every dog is different (as is every situation) and we want your dog to enjoy the training so that they'll want to participate just as much as you do. I have worked with all breeds and sizes (as well as other species!) and I have lots of experience with basic obedience, advanced training, service dog training, tricks, Canine Good Citizen (CGC) testing and training, problem-solving (housebreaking, puppy troubles, etc.), and reactivity.

Availability
I'm fairly flexible, though afternoons and evenings generally work best for me. I would prefer to schedule out a few days (if not more) in advance to make sure that I don't have any conflicts.
