What to expect

Consultation

During your dog's consultation, we'll review their behavior and training goals. I'll recommend a number of sessions to reach those goals and create a customized plan for you and your dog. The goal is to offer coaching and mentorship while you strengthen the bond you have with your dog and build trust. I will be there every step of the way (whether that's via zoom, chat, or in person). My program is structured this way to ensure I will be working with pet parents that are willing to go the extra mile. Successful dog training relies mostly on the pet parents--not on trainers alone.

Sessions

Typically in your home

In our first session, we'll look closely at the specific issues you're experiencing. I will develop a customized plan for you to follow. You will have access to me via chat, call, zoom, or (if necessary) in person. As mentioned previously, this is the best approach since your dog requires consistency and leadership that only comes from you. We may eventually work on more advanced tasks for public access and PSD work once we have determined whether or not the dog is well suited for it. This would occur after obedience training is complete and can take up to a year or more.
