Clear, Calm, Effective Dog Training
What sets me apart is my real-world experience working with dogs every day—not only in controlled sessions, but on neighborhood walks, trails, beaches, at dog parks, and inside the home. As a GoodPup Certified Trainer and full-time pet-care professional, I combine reward-based training with calm, confident leadership, clear boundaries, and close attention to body language. I tailor each plan to the dog and household, coach owners in practical handling skills, and focus on progress that carries into everyday life.

What to expect
Consultation
During an initial consultation, I learn about your dog’s history, routine, behavior, triggers, and your goals. I observe your dog in real time, explain what may be contributing to the issue, and begin a practical training plan. At least one regular handler should attend and be ready to participate. Please have your dog’s usual leash, collar or harness, high-value treats, and favorite toys available. Afterward, I’ll provide clear recommendations, exercises, and next steps to practice at home.
Sessions
This version is 521 characters, including spaces: A typical training session is hands-on and focused on practice. We’ll work on one or two priority skills, such as leash walking, recall, jumping, greetings, puppy biting, place, confidence, or impulse control. I’ll demonstrate techniques, then coach you as you practice with your dog. At least one regular handler should participate, with your dog’s usual equipment, treats, and toys ready. We’ll finish by reviewing progress and setting clear, manageable exercises to practice before the next session.
More info
My training is reward-based, structured, and tailored to the individual dog. I use food, praise, play, movement, and access to valued activities to build confidence, self-control, and reliable behavior. I also provide calm, confident leadership through clear boundaries, steady body language, thoughtful leash handling, and consistent routines. I never force greetings; fearful, reactive, or overstimulated dogs are given appropriate space and guidance. Each plan is adapted to the dog, household, and real-life goals, creating practical progress through trust, structure, and clear communication.

Pet care and dog training are my full-time focus. My daytime schedule is primarily reserved for regular walks, dog park runs, trail adventures, and pet-care visits throughout Westchester and lower Fairfield County. Private training sessions are generally available after 5:00 p.m. on weekdays and throughout the weekend. Availability depends on location, travel time, and existing commitments, so advance notice is helpful. Reach out with your preferred days, times, and location, and I’ll let you know what best fits my current schedule.
