Puppy Specialist
What sets me apart is the depth and diversity of my experience. I’m not only a CPDT-KA certified trainer with over a decade of hands-on puppy training, but I’ve also led specialized programs like a puppy day school, developed class curricula, and incorporated cooperative care techniques into my work. I can address a dog’s needs from multiple angles—training, socialization, and cooperative care—while also supporting pet parents with clear, practical guidance.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation, we will go over exercises designed to help you achieve your training goals, discuss management of behaviors, and answer questions you may have about your dog. You will need a hungry dog, lots of yummy snacks, and a space to work in. I typically recommend a follow up appointment to see how the exercises help and go over additional skills.
Sessions
We dive right into training games, discuss issues or problem behaviors, and questions. Between sessions the client is expected to practice the skills and observe their dog, notice changes, and record questions for the next session.
More info
I believe in using science-backed, positive reinforcement methods that build trust, strengthen the human–dog bond, and create lasting results. Over the past 10 years of working with puppies, I’ve developed a toolbox of engaging tactics, games, and skill-building activities to address everything from basic manners to more complex challenges like separation anxiety, leash reactivity, and leash walking.
