Where Passion Meets Commitment
My mom was a professional dog trainer and groomer when I was a teenager and she taught me so much. Being raised with dogs and learning how to properly work with them sent me down a path to seek out as much knowledge as I could. I went to group training classes with our dog, learned scent-work, obedience, and agility training. As an adult I have trained my 5 current dogs as well as trained a dog for a rescue on an 8 week board and train to make him more adoptable. One of my specialties has been working with fearful dogs on slow socialization and trust and confidence building.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation we’ll go over your concerns with your dog’s current behavior and talk about realistic goals and how we can begin making them a reality.
Sessions
In your first session we will begin right away hands on with your pup, I’ll see how they respond initially and what motivates them. Before we finish I want to make sure you are comfortable with the cues and follow through. Lastly, I’ll give you some homework for between sessions to work with your pup because consistency is key and a dog’s training journey never truly ends!
More info
My approach is always to reward the correct behavior with a verbal “yes!” and treat. I try to add the name of the command as soon as possible to make the association between the action and the word. It is very important to me that training sessions are short and end on a positive note before the dog gets tired or frustrated. I always want them to be excited to train with me. I don’t expect or ask for perfection, I want the dog to have fun, and not every trick is fun for every dog.
