Training for life, not tricks
I do not have a long history of training, but I am passionate about it and ready to build on my initial experience. I am particularly suited to immersive training during pet sitting, but also work with regular visits in my sitting area.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation, we will talk about behaviors that you would like to work on, and where your dog needs a little extra direction. I will ask questions about your goals and observe your dog.
Sessions
From your first session we will start on training exercises tailored for your dog and your expectations. Between sessions it's important to reinforce the training.
More info
I work with force free principles only. Good training is built on an atmosphere of trust and positivity. Successful training is a communication agreement between dog and human. I believe that a calm and happy dog needs training in basic life skills. And it's never too late.

Availability
I am typically available in person midday and afternoon around the schedule and location of my current pet sit. My initial focus is training during a pet sit. I target a skill or behavior and work on it while I stay with your dog. This concentrated approach is helpful to reinforce learned skills, add new ones, and help adjust undesirable behaviors.
