What to expect
Consultation
During our first consultation, we'll take a deep dive into your dog's history, your training goals, and your daily routine to ensure we create a plan that fits seamlessly into your life. Whenever possible, I like to meet in your home to observe your dog in their comfort zone. If time permits, we can also go for a short walk to see how they navigate their environment. If an in-person meeting isn't convenient, we can connect over Zoom instead. After our session, I'll provide a detailed, customized behavior modification plan designed to address your dog's unique needs.
Sessions
I am big believer in active learning—for both you and your dog! During each session, we'll work through tailored exercises to help you achieve your training goals, whether you're focusing on basic obedience, polite leash walking, reactivity, or something else. I'll start by demonstrating the activity to guide you and your dog, and then we’ll practice together. Sessions typically last 45-60 minutes. Between sessions, you and your dog will work on simple homework exercises to solidify their progress. I’m also available via text or email between sessions for additional support and guidance.
More info
As a trainer, I use evidence-based, force-free, positive reinforcement methods to help your dog learn in a way that’s both effective and enjoyable. I strongly believe that training should be fun and engaging for both your dog and you, fostering a deeper bond and a love of learning. .
