Puppies, Adolescents & Behavior
I combine professional dog training education with hands-on experience providing private training, teaching group classes, and working in shelter environments. I help pet parents with puppy training, adolescent dog challenges, foundation skills, everyday manners, and behavior support, with training tailored to each dog’s age, temperament, and individual needs. My approach is kind, clear, and practical, with a strong focus on building trust, improving communication, and helping pet parents feel confident continuing the work at home.

Consultation
A consultation is a chance for me to learn about your dog, your training goals, and any behavior challenges you are seeing at home or on walks. I will ask questions about your dog’s history, routines, triggers, and daily environment, observe your dog’s behavior, and gather any additional background information to better understand what is going on. From there, I will explain how I would approach the training, answer your questions, and recommend next steps based on your goals and your dog’s individual needs.
Sessions
Training sessions are practical, hands-on, and tailored to your dog’s age, temperament, and unique needs. We focus on foundational skills, life manners, and addressing behavior challenges through individualized lesson plans. I place a strong emphasis on interpreting dog body language, clear communication, and reward-based learning so both dogs and pet parents can build skills with confidence. To support lasting progress, I provide guidance for short, manageable practice between sessions.
More info
I use a science-based, reward-based, force-free approach that focuses on reinforcing desired behaviors with treats, praise, play, and other motivating life rewards. My goal is to help dogs learn in a way that builds trust, strengthens the human-dog bond, and creates practical, lasting results. I coach pet parents to be kind, consistent, and patient leaders while tailoring training to each dog’s age, temperament, learning history, and individual needs.
