Puppy & Behavior Specialist
As a Karen Pryor Academy Certified Training Partner (KPA-CTP) and AKC Canine Good Citizen Evaluator, I combine professional education with years of hands-on experience training dogs of all breeds, ages, and temperaments. Every training plan is customized to the individual dog and family. I don’t just train dogs—I teach owners how to communicate effectively so results last long after our sessions. My goal is to build confident, well-mannered companions while making training enjoyable for both dogs and their people.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation, we’ll discuss your dog’s history, current behaviors, daily routine, and your training goals. I’ll observe your dog’s body language, behavior, and interactions to identify what’s driving the challenges you’re experiencing. Together, we’ll create a customized training plan and discuss realistic expectations, recommended services, and the steps needed to reach your goals. You’ll leave with a clear understanding of where to start and how we’ll work together to build lasting success.
Sessions
Every training session is hands-on and tailored to your dog’s individual needs. We’ll focus on practical skills you can use in everyday life while building clear communication and confidence between you and your dog. You’ll learn not only what to do, but why it works, so you can continue making progress at home. Between sessions, I’ll provide exercises to practice so your dog continues improving, and we’ll build on those skills at each visit. Consistency is the key to long-term success, and I’m here to support you every step of the way.
More info
I believe successful dog training starts with understanding why a dog behaves the way they do. My approach focuses on teaching clear communication, building confidence, and creating lasting behaviors through positive reinforcement, relationship-based training, and individualized plans for each dog. Whether I’m working with a new puppy, adolescent, or adult dog, my goal is to create reliable, real-world results while helping owners gain the skills and confidence to continue that success at home.
