Teaching Humans to Speak Dog 🐾

I don’t just train dogs—I teach communication. My approach blends empathy, science, and fun to help you understand your dog’s needs and behavior. I work alongside you to create a strong bond based on trust, clear communication, and mutual respect. With me, it's not just about fixing behavior; it's about creating a partnership that leads to a confident, well-behaved dog.

What to expect

Consultation

During our consultation, we’ll chat about your dog’s current behavior, your training goals, and any challenges you’ve been facing. This is a chance for me to really understand your dog’s unique personality and what you'd like to achieve together. We’ll also talk about any limitations—like time, environment, or past experiences—as well as your dog’s medical or behavioral history, if relevant. My goal is to create a customized training plan that works for you and your dog, with empathy, science, and support at the center of it all. Additionally, please provide your dog’s vaccine records.

Sessions

Typically in your home

Each session is focused and efficient, diving straight into training and behavior management. Please have your dog leashed (preferably in a harness). Have an assortment of high-value treats on hand, ideally in a wearable treat pouch (it will make your life easier). We’ll follow your personalized training plan, but will adjust as needed based on your dog’s progress or any challenges. I’ll guide you through each step, making sure you’re both comfortable and confident with the techniques. After our session, I’ll send you a detailed recap including everything we covered, along with any homework!

Positive Reinforcement

My training is rooted in positive reinforcement and science-based methods. Dogs don’t misbehave on purpose—they act on instinct. Instead of correcting natural behaviors, I teach them what we’d prefer and reinforce those choices with encouragement, treats, or play. What we ask of our dogs may not be "normal" behavior, which is why training requires patience, empathy, and consistency to build trust and create lasting, fear-free results.
