As a former teacher, I excel and explaining concepts to the humans who I work with. While working with dogs is important, a good trainer can work with the whole family to help everyone be on the same page for consistent progress with their dog!

Consultation
In my consultations, I take the time to assess the dog, discuss reasonable goals, discuss a plan forward, and we even begin working on skills.
Sessions
As a former teacher, I believe in setting up manageable expectations and approaches to training. At each session, I will leave you with several skills to work on for short training sessions every day with your dog. Through regular check-in’s, we can fine-tune as needed until our next session where we work on new, more challenging skills.

I believe in a behavioral approach to training. For behavioral issues, we must first find the root of the problem and help the dog understand his choices and encourage the correct behavior through reinforcement.
