Training That Builds Trust
Building Trust, Not Just Obedience: I prioritize your dog’s emotional well-being. A dog that listens because he or she wants to is always more reliable than a dog that listens because they are afraid not to.

Consultation
Training That Builds Trust: I believe a well-behaved dog starts with a strong bond, not fear. I use positive reinforcement to replace "alpha" mindsets with clear communication and rewards. While many focus on stopping "bad" habits, I teach your dog what to do instead—creating a confident pet who chooses to listen because they love the process. What to expect: We’ll start with a deep dive into your dog’s behavior, followed by a hands-on demo. You’ll leave our consultation with "quick win" strategies and a personalized roadmap to turn daily chaos into calm, connected moments.
Sessions
Check-In: We review your "homework" and any wins or challenges from the week. Active Training: I demonstrate a new skill, then coach you as you practice it. This ensures you feel confident doing it on your own. Real-World Application: We practice in the environments where you actually need the behavior (the yard, the front door, or on a walk). Wrap-Up: We recap the session and I provide a simple, actionable plan for the week ahead.
More info
I believe that the strongest foundation for a well-behaved dog is a relationship built on trust, not fear. My training is rooted in force-free, positive reinforcement techniques that focus on rewarding the behaviors we want to see. Instead of suppressing "bad" habits, we work together to teach your dog what to do instead. By using high-value rewards and clear communication, we turn training into a language you and your dog both speak fluently, resulting in a happy, confident pet who chooses to listen because they love the process.
