Fun, custom-tailored programs

I have a master's degree in animal behavior and decades of experience working with dogs, cats, and horses. If you're local to the Asheville area, we can work at my farm in Mars Hill, ideal for socializing puppies to my friendly dogs and creatures of other species, or using them as distractions for more advanced training. My focus is first on meeting your dog's social and physical needs, often behavior problems have unfulfilled needs at their root..

What to expect

Consultation

During an in-home consult, I will work with the specific issues you're concerned about. I will observe your dog's behavior, train the dog myself to see what seems to work best for them (if it's safe to do so) and give you exercises to work on between sessions to keep progressing toward your goals.

Sessions

Typically in your home

If you'd prefer to work remotely or come to me at my farm, we will discuss your goals and tailor the training to get the results you desire. You will leave with exercises to practice at home, and you can contact me in between sessions if you need a refresher, or if a particular exercise isn't progressing as you'd hoped.
