We Make Tails Wag While Training
I think training is an individual choice. You either click with a trainer or you don't. I believe in listening to the pet parents, devising a way to achieve what they want, and following through with the needs of the family. I do my best to be available and present.

Consultation
When we do a consultation, I will ask a lot of questions about your dog. We will do a back and forth exchange of information. I may ask you to keep the dog on a leash while I do my assessment. We will go over all the items on the pet parents list to see what needs to be worked on. I will write a training plan and send to the pet parents. We can then decide the best route for training. If I feel the dog has issues I cannot handle, I will recommend a behaviorist.
Sessions
I will need to see current vet records before we start training. We will go over some guidelines for training and then we will start training. The training curriculum will be tailored to the dog's age and prior experience with training. The pet parent will be given a homework sheet so at least 10 to 15 minutes of practice a day can be done during the week, and I will always be available to answer any questions between sessions either by phone or text. The
More info
I use positive reinforcement training only. It is less stressful for the dog and more fun for the pet guardian. We play games to help the dog learn and I always train at the dogs pace, not mine. I very rarely put my hands on a dog during training unless it is to give a pet or a treat. I use treats for learning only, then the dog is weaned off the treats and moved over to life rewards. I also give handouts on what is learned to help the pet parents have a homework refresher.

Availability
I am available to train mornings and afternoons during the week. I do not train in the evenings so I offer weekend training times. I can accommodate most requests with enough notice.
