Training through self discovery
What sets me apart from other trainers is my self teaching through discovery training style. It allows the dog to learn at their own pace and it makes behaviors more reliable when they feel as if they have figured out what brought them success. I am currently a detection dog handler so I have to train my dog daily in order to save lives, so training is second nature to me as it is my profession.

What to expect
Consultation
During a consultation we will discuss what your goals are for you and your asset and how you will be training your dog. I train the handler and the handler trains the dog. We then will observe your routine for the dog and how it interacts with you in and out of their environment and the classes will be based off of your dogs ability and your practical expectations.
Sessions
What to expect from a session is observing how you and your dog communicate and if you have a bond with them. If not, teaching how to develop bond based off practical expectations. If you do have a bond how is it beneficial to both human and animal. From there we see what behaviors the dog is currently displaying and implementing the current standard and expectation for the new behaviors.
More info
The method to best describe my training style is free shaping. Dogs learn best via self discovery and it’s up to the handler to teach the dog what you want them to do then train it by making the right decision easy and the wrong decision hard.
