Puppy Coach: Walks & Manners
What sets me apart is how structured and practical my training is. I don’t just work with the dog—I coach the pet parent so you know exactly what to do between sessions. Each visit includes a simple plan, hands-on practice, and clear homework so you can repeat it in real life. I’m GoodPup certified and I use positive reinforcement. I focus on puppy foundations, leash walking, and everyday manners, and I keep training realistic for busy households. My goal is steady progress you can maintain—not quick fixes.

What to expect
Consultation
We’ll start by discussing your goals and your dog’s routine, then I’ll observe and do a quick skills check. We’ll practice 1–2 key exercises right away using positive reinforcement, and I’ll coach you on timing and technique so you can repeat it at home. Please bring high-value treats (and a toy if your dog loves toys), plus your dog’s regular leash and collar/harness. After the consultation, you’ll get a clear homework plan and suggested next steps based on what we worked on.
Sessions
Each session starts with a quick check-in and a short review of last week’s homework. Then we train in short, upbeat reps with breaks, focusing on 1–2 goals (puppy skills, leash walking, or manners) and practicing real-life situations as your dog is ready. Please have small, high-value treats, a 4–6 ft leash, and your dog’s collar/harness. Between sessions you’ll follow a simple 5–10 min/day homework plan so progress keeps building.
More info
I use positive reinforcement, reward-based training (treats/toys/praise) to teach dogs what to do and build reliable habits. I break goals into small steps, practice in real-life situations, and give you a simple homework plan after each session so progress continues between visits. My training style works best with owners who can practice 5–10 minutes daily and follow structure between sessions.
