My name is Nikhita , I am a CBCC-KA certified dog behavior consultant. I graduated with my BS in Animal Science in June 2025 and have over 6 years of dog training experience. I am passionate about owner education and making dog training accessible to all.

In broad terms, I believe in positive reinforcement only. This means I typically utilize rewards and I link it with a marker. I believe in strong environmental adjustment to help your dog be successful. That means not throwing your dog into a situation they are not ready for, instead allowing them to build their skills and advance towards a goal environment in steps. At the end of the day, dog training can appear to be a lot of complicated jargon and foreign concepts. My job as your trainer is to translate the behavior science and teach you the skills that you can apply in your daily life.

Availability
I am available 7 days a week, with a lot of flexibility for meeting times. In the summer since it is warmer outside, I like to do reactivity or fear based sessions later in the evening so we don't need to be in an enclosed space.
