Dog lover turned dog trainer
Although I am a new trainer, that means my skills are fresh and my enthusiasm is high! I grew up with dogs and now I’m the close with all my friends’s dogs and am excited to start helping others to develop a relationship with their dog through training. My fav saying about dog training actually comes from horse training, “You take the time it takes and it takes less time.” I’m not a guru, I’m not an expert (yet!), and I’m not a know it all. I’m honest, straight forward, kind, and willing to devote my time and energy and love of animals to help you with yours.

What to expect
Consultation
During a typical consultation I’ll ask the client about their current goals with their dog, any problems they are looking to address, and whether they have already had a dog trainer works on cues with their pet.
Sessions
In a typical session, I’ll ask the client to provide a space in their residence that will fit the training or skill we’ll be working on e.g.: small indoor space sectioned off, indoor long space for leash work, outdoor space, etc. I’ll work at the pace of the client’s dog. I ask for patience and understanding that working with an animal is dynamic and not one-size fits all. My priority will always be to provide a healthy, safe, and positive environment for your pup and meet them where they are.
More info
As a new trainer who has been around dogs my entire life, I solely practice positive reinforcement training. My method is based on helping dogs make the choice to perform the cues their guardians request to create a stronger dog/human bond, establish boundaries, and strengthen communication with your beloved 4 legged fur baby. I believe that learning never stops and I’ll continue to research, study and refine my training skills.
