Lets bridge the communication gap
My students would describe my teaching style as patient, realistic, easy to understand and alway fun! I stand out because of my intensive education in canine behavior, going beyond your basic sit, stay and come. Graduates of mine walk away with a deeper understanding and compassion for their dog, motivated to be the best pet parent they can be, far after the class is complete. Once you have been in one of my classes, you’ll become hooked on just how amazing dogs are.

Consultation
Consults usually run about an hour long. In that time I like to get a better idea of your individual dog and the entire households needs. It’s also a time to get to know me better. All questions are welcomed, I want my client to feel confident going forward choosing me to be their dog trainer.
Sessions
Sessions are always catered to the individual. We often start by going over the wins and setbacks from the past week. Making changes to the original plan if needed. Then we dive right into the training. I’ll explain what we are going to learn, and demonstrate. The client will get the opportunity to do the exercise with their dog so I can reinforce what the human is doing right and tweak what they could be doing better. And end with a review of the homework. Keep in mind I will always go at both the human client and canine clients pace.
More info
I train using only reward based methods. I am what’s referred to as a R+ (positive reinforcement) and FF (Force free) dog trainer. This means I will NEVER intentionally use pain, force, fear, intimidation or outdated dominance based methods or tools, to teach, modify or eliminate behaviors. I will only use proven science backed methods that focus on the human animal bond, communication and wellbeing for both human and dog alike.
