Positive, Force-Free Dog Training
What sets me apart is my commitment to modern, science-based, force-free training that prioritizes both learning and emotional well-being. I don’t use dominance, intimidation, or punishment. Instead, I focus on clear communication, positive reinforcement, and setting dogs up for success so they want to engage and learn. I tailor training to each dog’s motivations, stress signals, and learning style, while educating guardians on the why behind the work. My goal is confident dogs, real-life manners, and a strong, trusting human–dog bond.

What to expect
Consultation
A typical consultation focuses on understanding both you and your dog to create a plan that fits your lifestyle. We’ll review your dog’s history, routine, and goals, observe behavior and body language, and begin teaching foundation skills using force-free, reward-based methods. I’ll explain the why behind each strategy so you feel confident continuing the work at home. Training is collaborative, and guardians are encouraged to be involved.
Sessions
Each session is tailored to your dog’s needs using force-free, reward-based training. I work one-on-one on specific skills, breaking behaviors into small steps while reinforcing calm, confident actions. Guardians do not need to be present; all skills are reviewed afterward with guidance for home practice. You’ll receive clear instructions, practice routines, and management strategies to ensure progress continues between sessions and builds lasting, positive behavior.
More info
My training approach is rooted in force-free, reward-based methods that emphasize clear communication, positive reinforcement, and setting dogs up for success. I use cues rather than commands, allowing dogs to make choices and learn through positive associations instead of fear or pressure. I focus on teaching dogs what to do by reinforcing desirable behaviors with rewards they find motivating. Training is broken into small, achievable steps, prioritizing confidence, prevention of problem behaviors, real-life application, and strengthening the human–dog bond.

Availability
I currently work full time during the week, so I offer training sessions primarily on weekends. I’m flexible with Saturday and Sunday availability, including both mornings and afternoons, depending on the pet parent’s needs. I’m happy to coordinate times in advance to ensure each session is focused, unrushed, and set up for success.
