Calm, Structured Dog Training
My approach goes beyond commands. I help bridge communication between dogs and their parent(s) through structure, leash work, and clear guidance. I’ve worked with puppies, rescues, seniors, anxious, fearful, stubborn, and overstimulated dogs. I train the parent alongside the dog, so each session builds skills you can confidently continue at home. You’ll receive detailed homework after each session, and as you and your dog progress, we advance the training together.

What to expect
Consultation
A consultation helps me understand both you and your dog. We’ll discuss their history, routine, behavior, triggers, challenges and your goals. I’ll observe their body language, responses, environment and how the two of you currently communicate. We may assess leash skills, boundaries, crate or potty routines, anxiety and reactions to distractions. I’ll explain what I’m seeing, identify our priorities and create a clear direction for training based on your dog and lifestyle.
Sessions
Sessions are hands-on and tailored to your dog’s progress. I’ll demonstrate each exercise, then coach you through it so you understand the timing, leash communication, body language and rewards yourself. We build skills gradually and introduce real-life distractions as your dog progresses. After every session, you’ll receive detailed instructions and homework. Your practice between sessions allows us to build on previous skills and keep moving forward rather than starting over.
More info
I combine rewards with clear communication, structure and routine. I focus heavily on leash communication and body language to teach direction, attention, calmness and how to disengage from distractions. Every dog is different, so I adapt training to their temperament, confidence, triggers and learning style.
