Taking Training to a Higher Level

After over 17 years of training, I teach the owners to deliver the dogs name. Praise for Response (key)! Teaching the owner to Follow through with the next necessary command to continue getting and keeping their dog's attention on them. First and foremost, follow through with eye contact which I call the 'Focus' Then we build on the other commands. All this is using dog food (puppy food) for their reward. Using at least their food helps keep the dog or puppy healthy and lean.

What to expect

Consultation

My in-home privates I ask for a minimum of 2 hours. I break this visit down into 3 parts: first you answer some preliminary and aggression questions. This starts to give me a good 'feel' of your dog and what you are experiencing. Second is the initial Foundation Training of the Dog Training Name Response, adding the Focus and learning to build on these 2 commands. Thirdly, I will help you with the behavioral issues, concerns that you are experiencing. I guarantee that when I leave you will have the tools to start moving forward to helping with your dog(s).

Sessions

Typically in your home

I would like them to make sure that they set aside appropriate time to go through the sessions without hurrying the training. This helps to keep the dog or pup from getting stressed during their training. VERY IMPORTANT: ALL IN-HOME, PRIVATE LESSONS CAN BE VERY DANGEROUS, ALL DOGS ARE NOT ALLOWED TO GREET, ANSWER OR APPROACH THE DOG TRAINER. PLEASE KEEP YOUR DOG/PUP CONFINED AND BACK FROM THE DOOR SO ALL PERSONNEL CAN ENTER WITH NO CONCERNS.

Positive Reinforcement

Using Positive Reinforcement to teach the owner to deliver the verbal (and/or hand commands). Here the dog learns the command word associated with the hand commands. So the dog learns to listen, watch (engage) with the owner and know what to perform for their owner in any situation: at anytime, anywhere and any environment.
