Behavior Specialist
I have completed my education of dog training through Animal Behavior College and also hold a master's degree in psychology which greatly advances my knowledge of behavior modification skills. I am proficient in setting behavioral goals and understanding the steps to achieve them which will help guide our sessions and track progress. I trained my own service dog who can fly on airplanes. Excited to help guide your dog into exactly what you need! I offer a board and train program where your dog stays in my home and receives several training sessions per day to gain long-lasting skills quickly

Consultation
During the consultation, I can get an understanding of what the owner is looking for and create a plan so that there is no wasted time during our sessions!
Sessions
For our sessions, I will have an agenda and a set plan for what we want to work on! I will also provide homework so you as the owner can work with your dog and not only build their skills but your bond as well. Essentially, I will teach you how to train your dog! I will evaluate all aspects of your dogs life to make sure they are getting all of their needs met which will in turn make them a happier, more obedient dog.

I have studied and practiced dog training utilizing positive reinforcement techniques. I work off the premise of rewarding the behaviors you are looking for rather than pushing the ones you are not! PLEASE NOTE: I am not specifically skilled to manage/train reactive or aggressive dogs. I have tools to help but this is not my specialty and recommend a reactivity specialist for urgent or advanced cases of reactivity. I specialize in problem behaviors, puppy training, and basic obedience cues.
