Helping Dogs Thrive & Learn
I’ve loved and worked with dogs my entire life, and my heart has always been with the dogs who need a little extra understanding. Having welcomed many shelter dogs and strays into my home, I’ve learned the value of patience, consistency, and trust. I especially enjoy helping anxious or insecure dogs build confidence and thrive. I also love teaching the basics—from puppy manners and obedience to leash skills and everyday behaviors—tailoring my approach to each dog’s unique needs.

What to expect
Consultation
A typical consultation starts with getting to know you and your dog. We’ll discuss your dog’s history, routine, personality, and any goals or concerns, from basic obedience and puppy training to anxiety and confidence-building. I’ll observe how your dog learns best and focus on helping them feel safe and understood. Together, we’ll create a training plan tailored to your dog’s needs and your family’s lifestyle, and you’ll leave with practical tips, exercises, and a clear path forward.
Sessions
A typical training session focuses on building a strong foundation while keeping pet parents confident and involved. We’ll work on your goals, whether that’s obedience, leash manners, puppy training, confidence-building, or behavior concerns. I explain what I’m doing, why I’m doing it, and how to continue at home. My goal is to help owners understand their dog’s needs and learning style while giving dogs the skills and confidence to succeed long after our sessions.
More info
My training approach is based on positive reinforcement, consistency, and building trust between dogs and their owners. I use rewards like praise, treats, toys, and other motivators tailored to each dog. Every dog learns differently, so I customize training based on age, temperament, and goals. Whether working on obedience, leash manners, impulse control, or behavior challenges, I focus on patience and clear communication. My goal is to build lasting skills and give owners the tools to maintain progress.
