R+ training gets results

My training uses positive reinforcement that builds a partnership with your dog. I partner with you and your dog to see what works best; there are variations of techniques that work each dog. I don't use a "cookie cutter" approach to training. I'm always happy to answer your questions between sessions and help in any way you need. Please read my reviews before Rover added dog training in our area. Training rate is for 30-40 minute, in-home session. Discounts for rescue dogs. Please don't let cost prevent you from training your 4 legged family member...discounts available.

What to expect

Consultation

A 35-45 minute consultation consists of gathering your dogs history, finding out what your goals are (ie: basic manners? jumping? loose leash walking skills? etc.). I'll share some ideas, training tips and suggestions for things that you may like to try. We will go over some training options and come up with a training plan together.

Sessions

Typically in your home

Training sessions will consist of techniques to work on at home with your dog. You'll need to have some treats, which we'll go over in the consultation, and a treat bag. If you choose to use a clicker, you'll need that. A flat buckle collar or harness and 6 foot leash (non- retractable) are what's recommended for training. I'm available between sessions for emails, texts or calls. These are at no cost to you. If a question requires some time or demonstration, we will go over it at our next session.
