Positive training is fast and fun!
In 2021, I became certified in the Control Unleashed curriculum, which enhances the training you've already done and brings it to the next level. Hundreds of teams have benefitted from the Control Unleashed Pattern Games in all kinds of contexts : family dogs, Agility and Nosework dogs too! This work has deepened my understanding of dog behavior in countless ways - I'm eager to share them with you.

What to expect
Consultation
To really hit the ground running, I recommend bringing a hungry dog and plenty of small, delicious treats - more than you think you will need! If you have concerns about controlling your dog, let me know and I will send equipment recommendations. I find that most of my clients appreciate an emailed followup that includes video demonstrations of the topics discussed, which I love to make. You can expect an email from me after our session that includes a video recap.
Sessions
After our initial communication, a meetup in person will cover as many of your training priorities as appropriate for an hour session. I'm happy to demonstrate positive training techniques but feel best when you come away from our sessions with a (fairly!) clear plan to continue with what you've learned.

I have been training dogs and their families professionally since 2008 in my own practice and at area shelters and at training schools (in White Plains, NY). I delight in helping people to train their dogs and watch as their bond deepens. Training and an enriched life create happy canine / human partnerships!
