Phenominal Dog Trainer
I've earned various titles with my personal dogs: AKC Companion Dog Title in Obedience and The Weimaraner Club of America Shooting and Retrieving Dog Titles. I trained my current dog Frankie, a German Shepherd, for French Ring Dog Sport which includes high level obedience, agility and protection work. At Petco, I logged roughly 1000 hours of training dogs at all levels from Puppy through Canine Good Citizen and have never met a dog I couldn't help. I find training dogs and their humans to be so rewarding and I'm fortunate to love what I do. I'm told I'm a really great dog trainer!

What to expect
Consultation
During a typical consultation we would meet to discuss and prioritize the goals you would like to accomplish with your puppy/dog and set up a training schedule that fits your needs.
Sessions
At your consultation/first session I will require proof of age-appropriate vaccines including DHPP (or similar). With puppies they should have had at least the first in the series of DHPP and a Rabies Vaccine at 16 weeks. At the first session we will dive right into training depending on the consultation. With puppies we would start with learning a "marker word" and the "name game". With older dogs we will create a personalized training plan based on what I see and the owner's desires. In between sessions I would hope that the owner/dog team will practice behaviors taught in our sessions.

With my vast experience in reading canine behaviors, I am able to help owners modify unwanted behaviors in their dogs, using positive reinforcement techniques. I am especially talented at training puppies the basic cues of sit, down, stand, come and leave it.

I am available to train Wednesdays through Sundays between 8:30 am and 8:30 pm. If we cannot find a convenient time during these days - i could possibly work to set up a special appointment on a Monday or Tuesday.
