A Better Life for You and Your Dog
Great behavior starts with a great relationship. My approach is family-focused and science-based, using only positive reinforcement to ensure your dog’s needs are fully met—physically, mentally, and socially. When your dog’s “bucket” is full, they’re able to thrive, and you’ll see it in their behavior. We closely monitor our training progress weekly. I supply you with step by step handouts for practicing new skills as well as videos. I also provide a list of recommended products!

What to expect
Consultation
The initial consultation includes a comprehensive assessment of your dog’s enrichment needs. From there, we’ll build a customized training plan laying the groundwork for an enjoyable life with your puppy. We will get clear on your training priorities by setting achievable goals.
Sessions
In the first session we learn 1-2 basic new skills such as how to mark and reward desirable behaviors. You will need a training pouch filled with high value treats. Each week you will be asked to complete 10-20min of homework daily to practice the new skills you have learned with your dog. Practice makes progress, we all learn from successful repetitions.
More info
Investing in your puppy’s education, you’ll build a strong, lasting connection that leads to a confident dog—and an empowered handler. Let’s work together to create a joyful, well-mannered companion and a better quality of life for you both. If you puppy is jumping, we will teach alternative behaviors such as hand targeting, go to your bed or approach politely and keep all four paws on the ground to get petted. No clicker necessary, we will use a verbal marker and high value treats to reward all the good choices your dog makes.
