Happy Tails and Peaceful Homes

I intentionally keep my initial consultation fee reasonable because early guidance can often prevent stress, confusion, and behavioral escalation. Sometimes, a single session focused on understanding behavior and adjusting the environment is all that’s needed. I believe not every dog or pet parent needs an intensive training program. Many pet parents are not looking for rigid programs — they’re looking for insight, structure, management strategies, enrichment, and practical ways to create more harmony in everyday life with their dog.

What to expect

Consultation

Each booking starts with a complimentary 15-minute phone consultation to learn about your training goals, including the behaviors you’d like to change. During the call, I’ll share my background, explain my approach, and, if it feels like a good fit, schedule a longer consultation where we will dive deeper into the behavior you are trying to change and understand its underlying cause. I can then suggest structure and management strategies, enrichment, and practical ways to create more harmony in everyday life with your dog.

Sessions

Typically in your home

We will meet at your home, a park, your neighborhood, or virtually. You will know what we plan to work on that day, and when you leave, you will have hands-on practice to continue with your dog before the next session. I always send a follow-up email within 48 hours covering our session and often follow up with texts to check in on progress.

Positive Reinforcement

When it comes to training dogs, positive reinforcement is my go-to methodology. It is one of the most effective and humane methods, and it’s all about making training a fun, rewarding experience for both you and your pup.
