What to expect
Consultation
In your consultation we discuss behaviors, potential goals, and any special needs the dog or you may have. It’s my hope that you’ll end the session feeling optimistic and excited to get started with training!
Sessions
Required: • 4’ or 5’ leash • Collar— flat or martingale • Tag with phone number • Harness with front clip • Cheese or plain, lean boiled chicken breast • Water for you • Water for your dog • Notebook or device for writing notes Required between training sessions: multiple brief practices per day. Highly recommended: send video of you practicing with your dog on current skills, so we can review together.
More info
I am Fear-Free Certified, so collars accepted are: flat or martingale. A harness with front lead is required (unless your dog has been advised by a veterinarian to not wear one). Collars NOT accepted: shock, prong, beep, buzz, tap, nor choke styles.

Sessions
Availability
The first session is a consultation on Zoom. Subsequent sessions are weekly in-person (or on zoom if you or another human or pet in your household is contagious). This flexibility is great for if an animal or human in your home is sick—please switch to zoom or cancel. When you buy another training package, all sessions can be either in-person or on zoom.
