Guide behavior, deepen bonds.
Every dog and cat is unique—and so is Lori’s approach. She tailors training and behavior modification to fit each animal’s temperament and their family’s routines, combining positive reinforcement with desensitization and counterconditioning strategies. The result: well-mannered pets, happier homes, and a fun, rewarding training experience.

What to expect
Consultation
Initial behavior consultations for dogs and cats are 90 minutes and are conducted in your home (or via Zoom, phone, or email for shy cats or long-distance pets). I’ll observe your pet, discuss routines, demonstrate strategies, and provide a written behavior plan with handouts for reference. Behavior training sessions are 60 minutes and focus on hands-on practice at home (or in public for dogs) with homework and handouts. Together, you and your pet will practice strategies between sessions. Email follow-ups are included to answer questions and help adjust the plan as needed.
Sessions
The initial obedience and trick training session for dogs and cats is 90 minutes and sessions thereafter are 60 minutes. I come to your home (or meet you in public for dogs). I’ll guide you and your pet through exercises, demonstrate techniques, and provide written instructions and handouts for reference. Together, you and your pet will practice the exercises between sessions. Email follow-ups are included to answer questions and help adjust the plan as needed.
More info
I use gentle, scientifically grounded positive reinforcement to train dogs and cats, addressing manners, obedience, and behavioral challenges. Training covers skills like polite greetings, soft mouth, “leave it,” sit, down, stay, recall, and leash walking. Behavioral consultations tackle separation anxiety, fears, reactivity, aggression, and introductions of new pets or infants. My goal is to create confident, well-adjusted pets while strengthening the bond between animals and their families.
