Advanced Experience and Knowledge
I am a trainer who you can trust. You will rarely find a trainer who is not only certified in dog training but also studying to become a vet. With my experience and knowledge, I can help you read into behaviors. Additionally, you will rarely find a dog trainer who has also achieved the same level of dog training as me. Not only do I have a certificate in dog training, but I have also owner trained my own service dog (who will NOT be present during our sessions to keep everybody safe). Finally, I also have experience in dogs with special quirks, such as canine aggression, through my own dogs.

What to expect
Consultation
During our consultation together, we will review both your short-term and long-term goals, what you hope to get out of training, any troubles you might be experiencing, any past training experiences, the environment we live in, and the tools that you have for us to work with. If possible, I would also like to meet your dog during this time to perform an initial assessment and get a good idea of who we are, where our strengths and weaknesses lie, and what motivates us. Afterwards, we will come up with a plan together and then actually proceed with the plan.
Sessions
During training sessions, we will work step-by-step towards our goals. We will only go at the pace of your dog. We will troubleshoot through problems and monitor our progress. We will also discuss the basics of training so that you can make the most out of our time together as well as your time to practice in between sessions. As we will be using positive reinforcement, we will need a motivator for your dog (i.e. treats, toys, pets). Between sessions, I will "assign" something for you to work on with your dog. This will only take about 5-10 minutes each day for continued progress.
More info
Dog training is one of the best activities that an owner can do with their dog for many different reasons. One of the biggest reasons is that dog training strengthens the bond that an owner has with their dog. In my training, I use positive reinforcement. Positive reinforcement shows a dog that training is a fun relationship-building activity to do with their owner. It teaches them, challenges them, and enriches their lives. I start with the basics of training, as when you have conquered the basics of training, you can really conquer any type of training from there successfully.
