Force-Free Trainer, Happy Dogs
Guide dog–level training experience — Years as a Guide Dogs of America puppy raiser means your dog learns from methods proven on future service dogs, not just pet basics. Force-free, science-backed methods — No corrections or intimidation, ever. Just positive techniques that build genuine confidence and a dog who wants to learn. I coach you, too — You don't just get a trained dog; you get the timing and tools to keep the progress going long after our sessions end.

Consultation
Your First Session: The Initial Consultation Your journey starts with a relaxed one-on-one video call from the comfort of home — no pressure, nothing to prepare. We'll talk through your dog's history and current training level, and I'll observe your pup to establish a baseline. You'll share your concerns — potty training, leash pulling, barking, socialization, or starting a puppy off right. From there, I'll build a custom plan with clear goals, short daily exercises, and a realistic timeline. You'll leave knowing exactly where your dog stands and where you're headed.
Sessions
A Typical Training Session Each session follows a comfortable rhythm — about 30 minutes, one-on-one over video, with your dog learning at home where they're relaxed. We start by reviewing how the week's exercises went, then get hands-on: I coach you in real time through a new skill or behavior, showing you how to mark, reward, and set your pup up to succeed. We finish by setting your daily goals for the week ahead. And you're never on your own — text me anytime between sessions. The result is steady, confidence-building progress that keeps learning fun.
More info
My Training Approach Dogs have been at the center of my life for as long as I can remember. I'm a positive-reinforcement, force-free trainer — no corrections or intimidation, ever — using methods backed by behavioral science. My goal isn't just a dog who obeys, but one who's confident and genuinely enjoys learning. I reward the behaviors you want and build confidence rep by rep, and I coach you too, so progress sticks at home. As a Guide Dogs of America puppy raiser and CATCH Academy candidate, positive training isn't a trend for me — it's how I work.
