Your Dog Deserves FearFree Training
I will get to know your dog's personality to provide you and your dog with training goals, exercises, and rewards that fit your needs. Each dog is unique! There is no 'one size fits all' in my training.

What to expect
Consultation
During our initial consultation, I will take a brief history of your dog and their training history. We will discuss your training needs and suggest a general plan and approach as well as appropriate number of sessions it may require.
Sessions
At our first session, we will cover the training plan I created based on our consultation, and make adjustments if necessary. After which we will cover the basics: a demonstration of the skills and techniques we'll be using. We will then start our first session. At the end I will go over any questions you have and make sure you are comfortable with the techniques and lesson plan.
More info
My training methods are fear-free and reward-based. This means I train on a consent basis; I would not force your dog to do something. Instead, I use the dog's preferred reward to build trust while teaching you and your dog skills or creating a pattern of appropriate behavior. After each session I will provide a set of training exercises to work on. Some dogs are not treat-motivated, but prefer toys, play, or affection. These rewards are easily brought into the training process. Training is a lot of work, so I will work with you to make the process as enjoyable as possible.
