It's BETTER when we learn TOGETHER.

I’m committed to continual learning. As new research expands our understanding of animal cognition, empathy, and the ways medical conditions influence behavior, I make it a priority to keep studying and refining my skills. Ongoing education helps me stay aligned with modern science and provide the most effective, welfare‑focused training possible.

What to expect

Consultation

During your consultation, I will sit down with the pet parent and discuss behavioral challenges, routines, etc. I will observe the dog and demonstrate how we start training the dog with an easy cue the pet parent practice until their first official session.

Sessions

Typically in your home

In your first session, we start working hands on. My job is to help the pet parent learn and understand how to work with their dog. We will go over cues, management ideas, routine changes, etc, based on the individual dog and pet parents' needs. I do my best not too cram too much information in one session as to not overwhelm everyone and ensure time to practice. I will usually share homework via email, text, or prints after or before sessions based on what we covered during a session. Please make sure the dog is up to date on vaccinations or has a titer test.

Positive Reinforcement

I believe in a force‑free, fear‑free, science‑based, welfare‑focused approach to dog training. I follow the LIFE model (Least Inhibitive, Functionally Effective), ensuring that every training choice supports both behavioral success and emotional wellbeing. My goal is always to set dogs up for success, helping them feel safe, supported, and confident throughout each session. Above all, dog training should be fun for everyone—dogs, owners, and trainers alike.
