Think & Teach Dog

I've dedicated my career towards teaching humans and their dogs since 2008. I have created a dog training tool for my students to be able to follow along with their dog's learning, whether in person or when your dog is with your trainer.

Behavior experience

Barking
Resource guarding
Jumping
Leash manners
Separation distress
Leash reactivity
House manners
Fearful behavior
Anxious behavior
Recall
Biting
Chewing
Mouthiness
Potty training
Lay Down at distance
Down + Stay

Training skill set

Puppy training
Adult dog training
Clicker training
Advanced training

What to expect

Consultation

First, I like to just listen to the client and find out their goals for a new dog, or to the pain points of their past experiences. From there, I continue to observe and learn about their dog and what their unique personality is.

Sessions

Typically in your home

I allow clients to video the session where I break down each behavior to be learned into small steps. It's important to learn what the dog (the learner) perceives as reinforcing. I like to break the hour long session in 3 parts where we continue to work on our agreed goals.

Positive Reinforcement

Positive Reinforcement based, Relationship focused. Force and Fear Free approach. The goal is to discover what motivates your dog and pairing that with Step-by-Step learning plans for the behaviors we agree will help your dog.
