Support for you and your dog.
I don't just teach you how to train your dog, I teach you how to understand your dog and set them up for success.

What to expect
Consultation
During your consultation, we'll discuss your most pressing training need, your overall training goals (and whether theyre attainable), as well as how much time you're able to dedicate to achieve those goals. Behaviors like sit/down can be taught in a single session. Behaviors such as reactivity will need multiple sessions to gradually desensitize/counter-condition your dog to their trigger(s). All behaviors will need continued practice to be maintained.
Sessions
Each session starts with a recap of your dog's behavior, successes, places for adjustment. Then we'll discuss the next step, and go over what that entails to be sure you, and your dog, understand the training. Ending with a recap and homework assignments. The 'homework' is important because this is when the long-term learning happens and behaviors become habits.
More info
I use only force/fear free techniques including positive reinforcement, desensitization, and counter-conditioning. Reinforcement can be in the form of treats, toys, or activities they enjoy.
