What to expect
Consultation
During the consultation, I’ll spend time getting to know you and your dog. We’ll discuss your dog’s behavior, training goals, lifestyle, and any challenges you’re currently experiencing. I will observe your dog’s behavior and begin introducing simple exercises so you can see my training approach in action. At the end of the consultation, I’ll recommend a personalized training plan and discuss how many sessions may be helpful to reach your goals.
Sessions
Each training session is hands-on and customized to your dog’s needs. We’ll work on practical skills such as obedience, leash manners, focus, and behavior management. I will guide both you and your dog through training exercises and show you how to practice them effectively between sessions. Owners play an important role in the process, so I provide clear instructions and simple homework exercises to help reinforce progress at home.

I use positive reinforcement and relationship based training methods that focus on building trust, clear communication, and consistency between dogs and their owners. Every dog learns differently, so I tailor each training plan to the dog’s personality, age, and learning style. I focus on rewarding desired behaviors, setting dogs up for success, and helping owners understand how to communicate effectively with their pets. My goal is to create confident, well mannered dogs while strengthening the bond between dogs and their families.

I currently work during the day Monday through Friday from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, but I am available for training sessions on weekday evenings after 4:30 PM. I also have flexible availability on weekends depending on the client’s needs. I do my best to accommodate pet parents’ schedules and create consistent training times that work best for both the dog and their family.
