Confident Dogs, Kind Methods
My background in rescue work has also taught me how to support dogs with a wide range of histories and temperaments. I meet every dog where they are, tailor training to their individual needs, and move at their pace to ensure success. I also enjoy helping dogs rehabilitate and find forever homes.

What to expect
Consultation
During our consultation, I’ll take time to get to know you, your dog, and your goals. We’ll discuss your dog’s behavior, daily routine, training history, and any specific challenges you’re experiencing. I’ll also observe your dog in a calm, low-pressure way so I can better understand their body language, comfort level, and learning style. You can expect a collaborative, judgment-free conversation where we outline what’s working, what needs support, and what your ideal outcome looks like. If your dog is reactive or nervous, I make sure the environment stays safe and comfortable for everyone.
Sessions
During each training session, we’ll focus on hands-on, positive reinforcement–based exercises tailored to your dog’s needs and learning style. I’ll demonstrate each skill, then guide you through practicing it with your dog so you feel confident continuing the work on your own. Sessions are paced thoughtfully to keep your dog feeling safe, successful, and engaged. You can expect clear explanations, step-by-step coaching, and a supportive environment where both you and your dog can learn without pressure.
More info
My training approach is rooted firmly in positive reinforcement and evidence-based methods. I believe dogs learn best when they feel safe, motivated, and understood, so I focus on building confidence, creating clear communication, and strengthening the bond between dog and handler. My goal is always to help dogs feel more comfortable in their environment by changing their emotional responses, not just their outward behavior. This approach leads to real, lasting progress rather than quick fixes.
