Let's have fun training together!
I have over 10 years working with dogs. I have spent the majority of my career working in animal shelters with dogs. I also spent some time in boarding and daycare facility where I gained a lot of confidence in managing large groups of playful pups. My wife is also a veterinarian and as a team we have been able to help many clients with their dogs, especially those who are exhibiting behaviors related to fear, anxiety or pain.

What to expect
Consultation
During our consultation- We will review your dogs behaviors including any videos that you may have taken so I can see a clear idea of what is going on. Then we will discuss your goals and talk about some management techniques that can be implemented right away to aid in reducing the unwanted behavior. Consultations are around 30 minutes but can be up to an hour as needed.
Sessions
A typical training sessions begins with review and discussions about how things have been going. Then we jump into the next steps and we get to practice these new skills together with you and your dog. Then we end with what should be practiced until our next session.
More info
My training philosophy is that to train our dogs we should reward (treats, toys, praise etc.) what we like and what we would like the dog to continue; while using management tools (barriers, leashes etc.) to prevent the rehearsal of unwanted behaviors. Setting very clear boundaries and criteria for our dogs will help them understand what it is they are supposed to be doing. Arranging their environment so they have a very clear way of making the right choices helps with clarity.
