Happy, healthy companions
At one time, I had 5 rescued dogs who had all come to me as adults. I didn't understand how they think and how to communicate with them. I learned so much with them. I also volunteered with 3 different rescues as an evaluator and transporter. Dogs are similar in general, but each dog is unique in some ways. Knowing fundamentally that your dog always wants to make you happy is the key to success. Bringing out their best can take some time and patience, but it is so worthwhile.

Consultation
During our consultation, I will observe your dog and your interactions. We will discuss the goals you wish to achieve and a plan to get you there.
Sessions
Our sessions will be structured and fun! I will demonstrate and then have you do the same. We will have clear goals, instruction, and practice. I will also be available for you by text or call in between sessions for any questions, clarification, or to address anything that comes up. I am here to guide and support you.

Dogs absolutely love to please their parents. Most of the time if they are misbehaving, it's a result of excess energy or a lack of communication. For the past 24 years, I have been working with my own dogs and rescued dogs using only positive reinforcement to achieve well mannered and happy dogs. Loose leash, non-reactive, polite inside the home, and confident. When you and your dog understand each other, your best friend knows what is expected and does it gladly. I love seeing formerly frustrated parents become proud parents. Or if your dog is young, it's even easier.

I work from home and also house sit. My schedule is flexible outside of confirmed bookings. If we commit to a bundle or maintenance training, we can choose a specific time once per week on the same day for consistency.
